Omar Nielsen is a NASM-certified personal trainer, based in San Francisco, California, specializing in functional strength, injury prevention, and adaptive fitness for diverse populations—including older adults, youth, athletes, and individuals managing chronic conditions such as arthritis, diabetes, cardiovascular disease, and osteopenia.

He holds a Master’s degree in Education and combines a background in learning design with evidence-based research to deliver personalized, goal-driven fitness coaching. Omar is also a TRX-certified instructor and experienced strength coach, with a track record of working with clients at all levels—from those new to exercise to recreational fitness enthusiasts and competitive athletes.

His specialization also includes weight management, older adult strength, endurance training, plyometrics & SAQ for athletics, and injury recovery, allowing him to design safe and effective training plans for clients with specialized needs.

In addition to his technical expertise, Omar is deeply committed to helping clients stay motivated and engaged in lifelong movement.
